True Streaks helps people create goals, log activity, build accountability teams, and measure consistency. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
Rewards are not live in the current beta. Future physical rewards or verified challenge features will require separate official rules, eligibility checks, verification, and review before launch.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as email address, display name, username, and authentication identifiers.
- Profile information you choose to provide, such as name and username.
- Goal and activity information, including goal type, schedule, completion status, logs, notes, distance, time, calories, and custom units.
- Team accountability information, including teams, invites, memberships, nudges, confirmations, and team-linked goals.
- Device and app information needed for app security, syncing, troubleshooting, analytics, and push notifications.
- Optional Apple Health data when you choose to import it, such as workouts, active energy, distance, heart rate, workout route availability, and dietary energy samples.
Apple Health Data
Apple Health access is optional. True Streaks reads Health data only when you grant permission and choose to import or sync Health data inside the app. We use imported Health data to help you log workouts, show progress, and mark imported workouts as verified by Apple Health.
We do not use Apple Health data for advertising, marketing, data mining, or selling to third parties. Manual logs can still be used without granting Apple Health access.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To save goals, logs, streaks, consistency data, team activity, and confirmations.
- To sync data between your device and our backend provider.
- To send notifications you enable, such as team nudges or accountability reminders.
- To understand app reliability and product usage so we can improve the app.
- To prevent abuse, duplicate reward submissions, or suspicious activity if reward features launch in the future.
Team Visibility
If you join or create a team, teammates may see team-related information such as your username, team-linked goals, activity logs attached to that team, confirmations, nudges, and team contribution data. Solo goals and logs are not intended to be shared with teammates unless you attach them to a team feature.
Service Providers
True Streaks uses service providers to operate the app, including authentication, database hosting, push notifications, app builds, and analytics. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to True Streaks.
Data Retention
We keep account, goal, activity, team, and analytics data for as long as needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the service. You can request account deletion by contacting support.
Your Choices
- You can use manual logging without Apple Health.
- You can manage Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings and the Health app.
- You can manage push notifications in iOS Settings.
- You can contact us to request help with account access or deletion.
Children
True Streaks is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate.
